What is a Breast Lift?
A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that elevates and reshapes the breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the breast tissue and nipples. The procedure addresses breast descent, improves contour, and restores a more youthful relationship between the breasts and the chest.
A breast lift changes position rather than volume. While the breasts may appear fuller because they are sitting in a more elevated location, the procedure itself is not intended to increase breast size significantly.
